Individual Health
The way we work and live is changing. More people are running their own businesses, retiring early, or going back to school. Many are working for employers without health insurance or experiencing employment gaps. Not having access to traditional employer group health insurance plans can be a cause for concern.
Relax! Plenty of affordable options are available to people not covered by group health plans. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wisconsin and Humana have quality individual health plans for you and your family to choose from. There are two "basic" plans covering different circumstances. Just select a plan, and then review the many options available.
Individual Health Plan - Individual health plans focus on people not covered by employer-sponsored health plans for extended time periods. The self-employed and early retirees may also be insured by an individual health plan. Our health plans are comprehensive plans with the choice of deductibles and optional benefits that allow you to build your own benefit levels and premium.
Temporary Health Plan - Short-term health insurance is for times you are between regular group health plans. Our Temporary Health Plans specialize in affordable rates for those without health insurance for a variety of reasons, i.e. between jobs, recently retired and not yet eligible for Medicare, no longer an eligible dependent, etc.
